This all happened at the end of the 1990s.
During this period, Chris kept a diary. Excerpts are
reproduced here. They have been chosen as they
illustrate the rather unusual circumstances that Chris
found himself in....
Some have been updated with additional information,
a result of drawing heavily upon Chris's highly
unreliable memory.
